is VOIP?
In response to customer demand, Computerwise have
now added VoIP systems to our portfolio of products and services.
VoIP allows you to make phone calls over the internet using
broadband, rather than over traditional analogue telephone lines. You can make and receive calls to and from other VoIP
users, mobile users, and people with conventional telephones. Instead
of a traditional PABX, VoIP uses a standard PC or file server as the central
processor to run special software that we supply as part of the total package,
and uses digital handsets over the same type of CAT5 network cabling system as
your existing computer network. You
can now have all the benefits of a corporate telephone system at a fraction of
the cost.
